Small Wins & Big Voices

Quick dev update on Soluna Explorers!

First off — 99% of all Kickstarter orders have been sent out! Just one was held up by a tariff issue, but everything else made it safely. Big thanks to everyone for the patience and support.

Joanne’s been absolutely killing it with the voice acting. She’s brought so much personality to the lines — it’s been awesome hearing the world come to life through her work. Super proud of what she’s done so far.

Lance and I have been working on some UI updates to make card collection easier to see and enjoy. It feels way better now when you look back at what you’ve earned. He’s also been deep in glossary work, organizing the lore and systems so they’re easier to explore.

On my end, I’ve been testing different art styles for the cards. After trying a few directions, I landed on a watercolor look that I really like. It adds a gentle, almost storybook vibe to the cards. The upcoming Friar Theocracy expansion will feature this new full-color style — can’t wait to show you all.

I also spun up a small side app — a Soluna-themed coin flip. Just a fun, fast little thing to mess with. Felt cool to make.

Last thing — I might test ElevenLabs to find a voice that’s easier for me to use on the more common cards. Would be nice to have a consistent, reusable tone that fits the world.
