Buado began as an extension of the world I created for Brave Eduardo. Originally designed as a card game set in the same universe, Buado features all the same characters you’ll encounter in the video game. In fact, the game’s core mechanics and cards were eventually repurposed into the equipment system for Brave Eduardo, bridging both projects in a way that deepened the lore and gameplay experience.

The Kickstarter campaign for Buado became my most successful one yet, raising over $10k with barely any marketing. The game includes over 200 hand-drawn, colored cards of Bears, designed to offer an easier entry point compared to games like Magic: The Gathering, but still presenting a solid strategic challenge for players.

While the success of Buado was a major milestone, it also taught me valuable lessons. Moving forward, I plan to focus more on reaching out to reviewers before launching and improving my social media marketing skills. Despite this learning curve, the campaign’s success has been a testament to the power of community support.

Buado continues to stand as a game of passion, tying deeply into the world of Brave Eduardo and offering a unique experience for both card game and RPG fans alike. Thanks to everyone who helped bring this project to life!
